Keto Asian Beef Steak with Coconut Aminos


  • 1 1/2 lbs beef sirloin thinly sliced
  • 5 tablespoons coconut aminos
  • 1 piece lemon
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 onion sliced into rings
  • 4 tablespoons cooking oil
  • 3/4 cup water
  • Pinch of salt


  1. Marinate beef in coconut aminos, lemon, and ground black pepper for at least 1 hour. 
  2. Marinate overnight for best result.
  3. Heat the cooking oil in a pan then pan-fry half of the onions until the texture becomes soft. 
  4. Set aside the marinade from the beef. 
  5. Pan-fry the beef on the same pan where the onions were fried for 1 minute per side. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  6. Saute garlic and remaining raw onions until onion softens.
  7. Pour the remaining marinade and water and bring to a boil. 
  8. Add the cooked beef and cover the pan and simmer until the meat is tender. 
  9. Add water as needed. Season with ground black pepper and salt as needed.
  10. Garnish with pan-fried onions (optional).
  11. Serve while hot.
